I say, do not forget Lazarus with that triple bypass surgery has never charged with a never goods and services tax, closed eyes (Canadian Wheat Board AWB) 300 million rebound of the dollar to Saddam and, despite our protests, followed by the horsemen of the Apocalypse to Armageddon in Iraq – looking for fictional WMD (weapons of mass destruction).
Remember balaclava clad security and guard dogs and Dubai trained strikebreakers on the Waterfront in the dark the night break the back of the maritime unions; commandos boarding Tampa, lies about children overboard; demolition plan free dental care, the abolition of ATSIC (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Commission), the refusal to apologize to the Stolen Generation, expulsion Illicit and Australian citizens returning to the "non-core promises".
Remember $ 100,000 university degrees; health system two speeds, massive debt to 400 billion dollars abroad that nobody talks about, 500 million dollar advertising political pork barreling out control; social reforms vicious stacking the ABC board and appointment of an archbishop bizarre as Governor General, the politicization Public Service and the Federal Police, a deputy sheriff riding little case of East Timor, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, Pacific solution with prisons in Nauru and Manus islands; brutalization of asylum seekers and mandatory detention of refugees.
Who can forget the use abuse of the Senate to approve without discussion of Dickens's industrial relations laws? Or the desperate 'Black-Kid political Tampa which has soldiers in Aboriginal camps and undermined the original title? Or David Hicks in a filthy abandoned in Guantanamo Bay? Or the Haneef affair that tainted and diminished all of us?
And into the bargain, an immoral foreign policy because half the world against us. I'm sorry it's over? Hell no.
