The A27 / A259, the main roads of the coast south to connect to Brighton & Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings, Folkestone and Dover in the east and Chichester, then the M27 to Southampton and Portsmouth to the west. The A24 runs north through Horsham and Dorking to the M25, then Leatherhead London. The A23 which links Brighton & Hove and the A25 London is to reach the A27. During peak hours, there are a number of hot spots of traffic with high levels of congestion, time should be allowed when you travel around Worthing on the A27 and along the side of the A259.
