How to groom a cocker spaniel puppy?
I have a 14 week old Cocker Spaniel pup – he did not need to be brushed every bad yet, but I want to be prepared. So far, the only I can find places in Manhattan are incredibly expensive (as $ 100 grooming!) – I imagine I will learn to groom myself – where can I find good advice on this … I saw a lot of videos, etc. on how to groom a cocker, but they are dogs who already know how to behave on the grooming table … What to do with a puppy that has never been happen before?
First, buy a grooming table with arm (around $ 150), and teach your dog to stand still on it. Daily practice. When it is formed from the table, you can easily groom. You can go back to the breeder to give you some tips for grooming. I am sure that his breeder will be happy to assist you.
