Hadrian. Could you please explain how you arrived in China?
Since I was three, my parents always took my two brothers and myself to Asia, from Nepal to Malaysia, Thailand and India, Great Wall at the island of Komodo. We visited unusual places, met great people, friendly, respectful and helpful. I feel very close to these people who are so different from us in appearance, but are full of sincerity and joy.
Regarding China, I had the opportunity three years of study in Beijing, so I did not really hesitate. My love for Asia has determined my choice.
Why did you decide to create ObjetsChinois "China Items"?
After I moved Beijing, I decided to create my own undertaking to pay the rent for my apartment every month! It took me a few months to decide sell Chinese products in France (and worldwide) because, "At first I was a collector of Chinese art. Because high prices of Asian art on the European market, I was curious to understand why it is so expensive. It did not take me long to realize that the price of Asian art sales in France were not justified. My love do grow my motivation for me to allow people in love with Chinese art and Asian buy their favorite items at a fair price. Because of my Internet life, I work alone and have no intermediate. This allows me to have lower costs and make prices attractive to my clients (my prices are up to 10 times lower than a store usual). You know, the history of China is also fabulous and rich as ours. Since I travel around Asia, I am still interested the art market. And China has many treasures which we are fond.
My goal is to share my love for Asian art and Chinese by selling it at an affordable price. ObjetsChinois became famous around the world because of its network of resellers. You can now find items ObjetsChinois in several countries such as Indonesia, Portugal, France, Spain, Italy, China …
What kind of items you Selling? and where do you find them?
I specialize in ancient Chinese paintings, wooden statues of Buddha, Chinese kakemonos (paintings), Chinese traditional items, snuff boxes, cricket boxes, old Chinese wooden boxes and on minority issues Miao (clothing and jewelry). About my articles, "of course" I love the beauty and the old, but I quickly realized that the acquisition of an authentic Ming Dynasty statue was almost impossible! Therefore I am now specialized in the market for reproduction (but the high quality one). All my statues of Buddha in wood are made in a wood-nineteenth century.
